No Quality

bought an 19RB Aspen Trail in 2011 used it one time, It was stored for a while due to health issues. 2018 Got better, cleaned it out checked it out and went camping! On the trip my truck had problems with lights, blew all my fuses, lights, signals & breaks. Checked wires they were all melted together, removed belly pan and traced out wiring, most of the wiring was ran through raw holes in the frame, the rear tail light wire was on top of the steel frame then sandwiched between the floor where it shorted out. The insulation under the floor was 2 inch loose fiberglass, lots of gaps where there is no insulation at all. The fill hose to the water tank leaked, when they put the trim ring around the floor penetration they used staples, right through the fill hose, went to the RV store 3 ft of 1 3/8 hose was $40.00 you can buy 5ft on the web for $10. The tape on the seams of paneling is pealing off, The A/C and interior lights are mounted crooked, the filler used to cover the staples on the interior paneling put on with a finger has discolored so there are smudges everywhere. everything is built with the cheapest Quality products, and Labor & and sold at a High price

Coleman BH337

Purchased a new camper, brought it to my shop and parked it. The following week we were preparing to go on vacation, going thru hooking everything and closing everything the awning broke off. Three weeks later the dealer said they will not replace it. Called and emailed Coleman and two days later they said there not going to replace it. So you tell me I opened it and tried to close it one time and it’s in pieces. Absolutely crazy can’t believe a company like this will not do anything.

Never Buy From General RV in Dover Florida

Purchased a 2017 Aerolite Dutchmen from General RV Dover Florida in December 2016. Purchased extended tire warranty from lion and extended RV coverage from Cornerstone. 8 months later i find a soft, wet and black spot on the floor in the bedroom. I immediately take it to purchased location for service August 2017 where the service adviser tells me it will be about a month before they can look at it but they will keep it until they can see what the problem is. October 2017, I get a call from same service adviser who informs me that there were a few issues with my travel trailer. One issue was there was a leak on the roof, that they had fixed under warranty and that the shower was leaking into the bedroom causing the black, soft, wet spot. The service adviser told me that the shower was leaking because when I stand in it, the drain pipe disconnects from the weight of me standing in it. WOW The whole time between dropping it off and now i have been calling trying to find out what was taking so long. To which he informed me they had misplaced my paper work ( all computer based documents) and that the manufactured denied there initial submission(Dutchmen). End of October 2017 rolls around I get a call its ready for pickup. Since the Manufacturer denied coverage General RV had to cover the replaced lanai in the bedroom, but since they couldn't get it they asked if i would allow carpet in its place. Also they had to contact a third party to mold the bathroom tub. Too which I told them that would be OK. I arrive and wait almost an hour to pick my unit up. they told me that they couldn't find it 30 minutes to find it and another 30 i looked over it to which i find the bottom sealed 4 seasons plastic is dangling down. I crawl under the Trailer to find that they had taken a razor blade and cut access panels in the belly to get to the plumbing for the bottom of the shower but left it open and exposed. Of course i had them come out and patch it up. also while i was under the trailer i remembered the statement the sales person told me about it being completely insulated because its a four seasons package and i do not see a single shred of insulation. All i see is particle board soaked and black and moldy. i told the tech and they said its all ok and that they sprayed it with mold killer. They leave after patching the holes. so i start hooking it up to my truck and cant find my sway bar helper bar( the bar used to leverage the sway arms up) Then i notice my brake away cable is missing the clip that holds it to the tow vehicle, then i notice my both my sway arms safety clips are gone as well as the strap that holds my battery box lid on. Its as if they used my parts for someone else coach. they replace everything i am missing and i leave pissed of at there service I take it home and it sits in my yard for a month then i use it for one weekend. There came an afternoon shower, which it is Florida and i wake up from water coming out of the ceiling hitting me in the face. Then the two slides have problems going in and out. One DAMMM month after getting it back after General RV in Dover Florida had it for 3 months. I take it bake to General RV and they keep it for another 4 months without any cover over it. This is Florida it rains everyday. i asked the service advisers if they had it covered and they told me no. it sat at there dealership for 4 months with roof leaks and they didn't even cover it, not even a tarp All in All they have had it almost a year worth and i have a brand new travel trailer that has mold and mildew in it from repairs they made but didn't replace the damaged wood just left it in the unit but sprayed down with there mold and mildew killer. I still have a leaking roof and molded soft wet floors and they will not fix it even tho it was covered under their warranty and craftsmanship. i canceled all my extended coverage after that and got back as much as i could. My story has detoured 8 new potential purchasers from going to General RV in Dover Florida, and that number rises everyday. I tell everyone that i talk to interested in buying. Stay Away from General RV

Front cap

Bought a used 2014 Kodiak 284bhsl.had it about 6months.noticed bubble on front cap.dealer wouldn't fix. Dutchmen said it was out of warranty.so I ordered new cap which is not filon and cardboard. Put it on used corner seal tape, and eternal bond on top.works great.Dutchmen should use corner seal tape on there rv.the rv is nice just need better inspection at factory.and quit trying to mass produce.had tire blow out two years old.put new ones all around went with 8ply.i was told they put cheapest tires on their travel trailers. If they would put more quality control in making there rv. They wouldn't have as many complaints.

I have a 2018 Coleman. I spent most of the first year retrieving wooden core hole in my tanks because they were dropped in the tank instead of getting thrown away.

Now it’s a water leak from my skylight fan in the bathroom. I’ve had this for 1 year and half.

My whole back wall is covered with mold and water is collecting towards the back of the RV. I sure hope this is covered under warranty

2017 Coleman

On the very first trip with this camper. Got to the site unhooked from truck completely then tried to work the slide and nothing happened. Called the helpline number and they told me to disconnect the house battery for 5 minutes to denergize the system, it worked. But we have to do this everytime. Took it in for service and they tell me it is the battery that is the problem. The battery is at 13 amps and should be sufficient to do the job. Also hooked it to a new battery that had a full charge and still had same issue now the dealer says it is the battery. I keep telling them it is the board that is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced! On top of that the dealer has had the camper for two and a half months. And the first and a half weeks it sat outside and was not looked at.

So disappointed

We bought a brand new(2016) Dutchman the end of summer 2015. We did as we were advised and spent the money caulking and sealing it. We have had so many water issues constantly, but continued to have it caulked and sealed. Last spring we opened it up and it started leaking before we could even use it. In the fall before storing we spent over 600.00 again to seal it up. Just opened it up 2 weeks ago and after first rain the water was pouring in again saturating cushions and carpet. After climbing up myself to see where water was coming from, I noticed the water was pooling to the center of the slideout and pouring in. I was told the ceiling on the slideout is defective and warped but Dutchman has refused to take any responsibility for this claiming the warranty expired July 2016(by this point we had been able to use it June 2016 since we had just bought it the end of summer and stored it the whole winter and spring). Summer of 2016 we brought it in because there was a puddle on kitchen table and the light globe above table was full of water. Of course we had it caulked and sealed. Also while packing it up for a July 4th vacation(first time being used in 2017) it had rained over night and in the morning there were puddles from the slideout area running to the bathroom. It was blamed on needing to be sealed once again. I now believe the whole water issue was from that ceiling all along! This needs to be taken care of! When we buy something new and take care of it we don't expect the constant damage and repairs.
