My Dutchmen Aspen Travel Trailer leaked within the first 6 months. I caulked the leading seam to stop leak. It leaked again. We also had @6 gallons of water empty from under the corrugated underbelly of the trailer. Took it back to the dealer in the first 10 months...

I purchased a used 2012 Denali 289RKS in 2013. I noticed the shower basin flexed at the first use.

I opened the access panel below, inserted on edge the longest 2x4 that I could position inside, closed the panel up, and the basin floor is as solid as it gets. I weigh 245 pounds. It is now 2018, and no problems.

I also added more sealant where the glass meets the molded base at the exterior wall.

Depending on how the trailer was leveled, some bit of water leaked to the bathroom floor. And, I forced adhesive and sealant into the back of the top of the enclosure panels to ensure that spray from the wand would not flow back down behind the enclosure and the walls. I've not had any leaks since.

Furthermore, we have had no ceiling leaks, and no kitchen sink links. (The only place we had a leak was at the lounge slide, forward, when the slide-out was open.

This too depended on how the water ran from level. We fixed that by redoing the seals on the slide, and adding a slide-topper awning.)

Bought a brand new trailer in May 2014. It has spent only 4 weeks out of the shop since then, as the rest of the time it was in under warranty work. Now the warranty is up, they want to 'fix' things and charge me for it. Everything has fallen apart on this thing. I hate it.

Pay the lender half of what is owed since the travel trailer isn't worth the price! Yeah Right, sure they will. I am going to actively boycott Dutchman RVs and its affiliates!

The paint on the front cap or lack of good on a2012 denli

it seems that the Dutchman company has used bad paint on their 2012 and 2013 denli and it has faded most of the front cap I was on the Dutchman forum and they have repaired 26 units but the told me I was out of warranty but the first time I called them I wasn't out of warranty they just told me I didn't wax it four times a year but the book said you only have to wax it two times a year which I have done so now I have a camper that is three years old but it looks 15 years old

TOO many problems with my (less than 3 year old) Dutchmen!

Details
I have a Dutchmen Aspen Trail Travel Trailer. I have to say that I am beyond disappointed with Dutchmen and will never buy another! We have had this trailer for under 3 years and... In the first 20 months we had three blow outs and the siding blew off on one side. We had to file a claim with our insurance to have the damage from the blow outs fixed but at the same time we had to have the siding fixed. I have the warranty that clearly states that the siding, underbelly and roof have a two-year warranty where everything else only had a 1-year warranty. When we had the siding fixed last year we, Keystone and our insurance company told the dealer to check the rest of the trailer to make sure that everything was secure so this would not happen again. This was all last year in the beginning of the year. We were also told that the warranty was out after 1 year and I had to physically take them our warranty paper stating that the siding was covered for 2. Reluctantly it was fixed. Last month we headed down to the beach. And again, the siding blew off. This time on the other side. we have our trailer at another repair shop, have spoken with Keystone/Dutchmen and after almost two weeks were told that they were not going to fix our trailer, that it was not a manufacturer defect. I'm sorry, but how is the siding blowing off of a trailer that is less than 3 years old NOT a manufacturer defect! How is siding blowing off a trailer period, NOT a defect. After filing yet ANOTHER claim to have this thing fixed we will be giving it back and I will certainly find another manufacturer that has better built trailers.

Rainier travel trailer mfg by Thor industries

Replacing our 12 year old Wilderness TT with one the same size, 28', shouldn't have been difficult. I didn't check the care tag on the bed spread, put it in the dryer 10 min.on WARM to get out dust and allergens, the backing melted and it shrunk 2" (no H2O involved), it was DRY CLEAN only (for camping, what a joke). The K. sink wasn't installed properly, wouldn't completely drain. Bathtub was narrower than in our Wilderness, showering involved water on the floor. Seal wasn't done properly behind b.rm sink, water got in cabinet under it. Hose fittings in k. sink not tightened, water in drawer, faucet handle on that sink not properly installed. Mattress had big cut on top of it (had been turned to reverse, so we didn't notice i8t till PM before our trip). I would urge anyone wanting to purchase a piece of junk to get a Rainier. It's a lemon, and dealer's had it 2 weeks now and still waiting for mattress to be replaced by Thor. LEMON, LEMON, LEMON~~

I don't see Thor as responsible cause you can't fit in shower, or you can't read tags before washing. Other items seem minor to me.
