Steel Spare not right wheel

We have a 2016 Dutchman Areolite and lost an entire wheel after putting on the spare tire due to defective tires also. (10 months out of warranty with less than 4000 miles on them) The wheel came completely off and sheared off the lug nuts too. Roadside assistance ($480.00 later plus having to replace all the tires, all 5 at $700.00 and the trailer damage) said that it was the wrong wheel for the hub. We have aluminum wheels with a steel spare. Dutchman refuses to let me speak to a supervisor, Lionshead who sells the wheel and tires to Dutchman says we did not torque the tire properly even though we used a torque wrench to specification per the manual. WE had to change two of the tires due to defective tires and the other wheel had no problem, but it was the aluminum wheel as we only had one steel spare. Plus we have changed many tires over our lifetime and NEVER had a problem. I have shown this steel wheel, hub and tire to five different tire experts and they ALL say that it did not seat properly due to it not fitting the hub correctly as it is the wrong wheel for a spare to be put on that hub. In fact I was told no mater how it was torqued the tire it would have never seated correctly as it did not have full contact with the hub due to wheel design, please note the indentation on the steel spare. WHAT...I said? Dutchman and Lionshead refuse to warranty or help us repair the damage this did to our trailer which is normal for these big companies to not admit fault. Seems to be the way it is anymore, no honesty or responsibility. So if anyone else looses a wheel when using the steel spare I would like to know. Pics attached and i have more Please tell me what you think. PLEASE HELP I want to try and make sure that another trailer does not inflict the pain and suffering we had had over this, Plus we are alive and I would hate to see someone injured or killed over this. We almost lost our trailer and we are full-timers and retired with low income. Another issue was the main door on this rig was installed wrong. We tried to get it fixed and could not wait for them to order the door as we had to get home due to hubby's mom sick and dying. Later after she died, we finally were able to get it back into the shop. Dutchman said to bad your several months out of warranty. THEY KNEW THIS WAS DEFECTIVE WHEN WE BOUGHT IT and said they would repair. SO if you see a problem DO NOT BUY A DUTCHMAN

Sorry, crap happens, I have safe Soon many problems just walking around complete rig, checkin low, worn, lose, brake or metal dust around inter wheel, every Gas stop, We had problem in CO. Cold, 10 ish one nite, stopped to eat in wagon wheel nice lady waited on us, was full and happy on our way, about 20 mins out, A flat, fixed and on the way again, yep !

60 miles out and a Blow Out, bear ly off hwy

So unhook, two stayed w/trailer, back in town, nothing open but the dinner, so walked in and there was that smilin lady, told her my problem, And she said down street shop on left Joe has a auto shop and sometimes works late, sure nuff, there was Joe, like I said cold alittle snow and ole Joe had Big Ole wood heater burning And a pot of coffee atop, told him the lady at dinner said ck. With Joe, Yep fixed one with new tire, and other the spare with nice used one, Offered lots extra, he said No, and have a safe trip. OK here we come.

Thank God there is some Good OLE Joes out there.

But now, the best I have found is GOOD SAM'S CLUB, rd. Asst.

Ins. even a place to stay on breakdown if possible

I have a Dutchman Denali 26RL-DSL. The dealership in Dothan is not allowed to order OEM parts. Only after market parts are available. Apparently, after trying 2 other out of state dealerships, I get the same story. WHY should I spend good money on a product the company refuses to support?

Major living inconvenience

February 2020, went to camping world and purchased a 2020 Dutchmen Voltage 4135 41ft. Toy hauler Plan was to buy something I could live in, while building a house. Day 1, pulled it off the lot, got home and noticed Nor cold fridge beeping, Wouldn't stop unless propped something up against door. Fast-forward 6 months, (now August) I've taken back to camping world 2 or 3 X's now, where they keep it 3 to 4 weeks at a time. Major inconvenience when living out of something 4 days a week. Fridge no longer works at all, digital screen for loading off loading is blank, rear lift bed keeps collapsing, mattress in master we noticed was a used mattress first weekend we had it, generator shuts off due to low oil pressure after already being serviced 2 or 3 times. A/C trips in garage regularly after paying to have all 3 serviced, oven igniter rarely works, both pole speakers for outdoor TV/ stereo stopped working after using 2 X's, There are also noticeable and esthetically unpleasant bind areas of the side paneling and trim, over both sides of the triple axles. Generator is undersized for the total power demand, (cannot run all 3 A/Cs and turn on microwave or coffee maker) live in AZ, so yes 110degrees average this summer requires all 3 A/Cs that barely keep up. In which, I can be a little understanding to. Self leveling repeated turns off. Backslash tile falls regularly... this they finally seemed to fix. Actually dealing with Camping World is a whole other story!! I've had this coach in my possession a total of 3, maybe 4 months and all this already happening. Constantly returning or talking to camping world and almost nothing is ever actually fixed. I could go on, but I'm just getting more upset as I'I'm telling my experience.

User's recommendation: #1 Take your time! Research dealers and warranties. Watch YouTube videos , both Tips on purchasing and RVing in general. Lots of good info!

So many problems

Camper 2020 Kodiak cub. First trip. Pump would always stay running. Found plugged screen. 2nd trip got home from three-hour drive. All the shades fell off walls. 3rd trip. Set up trailer 2 hours later lots power. Unable to fix had to go home. Hired electrician. Found white wire to main plug not connected. Bolt was broken and wire came out. Also found a wire that goes to breaker loose. Poor quality of work. Could've caused fire to camper. Please inform your employees of safety. This could've been bad for my family and or next family.

Never received a call back or apology or even a game plan to solve all the issues with my new RV. Apparently everyone I spoke to said they were in the same Situation with this type of trailer everyone is very unhappy

Called With some issues on my 2020 Dutchmen and my phone representative was a young lady named Sarah who is very rude with short answers and ultimately hung up on me interesting for a supervisor. Very disappointed in spending spending $80,000 for my 5th wheel camper

Massive repairs in first month

We bought a 2020 Coleman rear lounge trailer June 12th of this year and less than a month later weve had to haul it back to the dealer 3 times. 360 miles round trip Bad eyebrow on the refrigerator, floor repair, and now the water pump is bad. Very disappointing to say the least. Also very costly to keep returning it for repairs.

User's recommendation: Don’t buy a Coleman Trailer.

I have a 1992 dutchman 5th wheel with a slide out and i filled the hydraulic pump with fluid and u can hear it pumping but the slideout aint moving

Dutchmen Questions

I have a Kodiak that we purchased last year. We have been trying to get our table fixed since then. It is crocked by about 2 inches and we can't use it. Could I please get some help from yopu.

We have contacted our dealer and they say there is nothing they can do with it, I know there are shorter legs because Campers world carries them so why can't they get one for us .Don't think I would recommend the dealer. We also been trying to get the recliner fixed because it sticks and doesn't want to come out without pulling it out. They have worked on it but never get it fixed. I do not have a right now but can get one if necessary and that is of the table.

Water damage due to manufacture defect

I purchased a 2018 Voltage 3805, towed it home and it has set for about 4 months. I took into my local dealer to check it all out and all 3 slides have water damage. If you pull the drawers out of the wardrobe in the bedroom slide its so bad orange mold is growing, the other 2 slides have water damage as well. There is impact issue none of the slides show any neglect, this is just a *** product and they wont stand behind it.

Refrigerator not working after only ten uses since purchased

Bought from camping world in Chichester New Hampshire in late 2018 used three times that year then stored used eight times in 2019 first time out in 2020 and Nor old model N8Lx fridge not working ; in 2018 when purchased hot water heater melted the plastic where the city water goes in and the tank fill Camping World of Chichester would not warranty I imagine that the fridge is not warranted either this is my first Dutchman fifth wheel I guess I should of stayed with my Laredo I had that for seven years and never a problem

Beware of the laminated lightweight flooring. Will not hold up. Ours is a 2017 that's only been used a dozen weekends...So far they are offering no assistance to get this manufacturer defect resolved.

Been to 3 dealerships for assistance. 2 of the 3 says it would have to be a factory repair. They are not capable to do such an extreme repair. Dutchman said turn it into the insurance company. Passing the buck. I'm sure they have a ton of these defective units out there. This is a major issue. They have been very unhelpful in helping us bring resolution to this problem. meanwhile I'm making payments on a 2 year old camper that has a flooring that (according to the dealership) could fall through anytime.

Problems with slides

We have a 2016 voltage 3605. Both slides on kitchen and couch side have wear bar problems per the techS at Explore USA. Our extended warranty will not cover it. Moving the slides in and out shakes horribly and its only 4years old. Also the couch is peeling and of course thats not covered by warranty. Im very disappointed in the quality no older than this trailer is.
