Where to start? First, at our destination on the first trip I noticed one of the dump valves was on the ground. When I looked under the camper I found 2 of the 3 dump valves were anchored to the frame with zip ties to the bolts that should have been anchoring the...

Beware of the laminated lightweight flooring. Will not hold up. Ours is a 2017 that's only been used a dozen weekends...So far they are offering no assistance to get this manufacturer defect resolved.

Been to 3 dealerships for assistance. 2 of the 3 says it would have to be a factory repair. They are not capable to do such an extreme repair. Dutchman said turn it into the insurance company. Passing the buck. I'm sure they have a ton of these defective units out there. This is a major issue. They have been very unhelpful in helping us bring resolution to this problem. meanwhile I'm making payments on a 2 year old camper that has a flooring that (according to the dealership) could fall through anytime.

Problems with slides

We have a 2016 voltage 3605. Both slides on kitchen and couch side have wear bar problems per the techS at Explore USA. Our extended warranty will not cover it. Moving the slides in and out shakes horribly and its only 4years old. Also the couch is peeling and of course thats not covered by warranty. Im very disappointed in the quality no older than this trailer is.

If your camper has the cable slideouts, don't buy it

Bought a $50,000 2018 Dutchman 5th wheel toy hauler from Camping World. This was our retirement gift to ourselves. Now we are afraid to go anywhere with it.We were getting ready to leave to go camping for the 3rd time when the gear box motor went out on a new camper for the slideout.Called the manufacturer Dutchman on the problem, they told me to contact the dealer.Camping World advised me that the warranty was up after one year.We had the camper 1yr. and 2 days. After checking the internet,it was found that there are alot of problems with this gearbox leaking and gears stripping. The gearbox is above the slideout and when it leaks it melts your rubber on the roof. One guy said this was his 4th replacement in 4yrs..I can't beleive that Dutchman will not correct this problem. If the gearbox goes bad with the slideout out,you have to push the slideout in by hand in order to move your camper to get it fixed at a dealer, thats a little hard when the slideout is almost 10' long you need several people. Then you will have to wedge boards inside on top so the slideout will not come out while travelling.

Update by user Apr 28, 2021

After multiple new GM's and service employees ( Almost every time I went in to check the status of my unit in service, someone else was at the counter) and the problems poorly addressed, it is now out of warranty. Finally was able to trade it in because of the pandemic...

So far nothing good to say about my 2019 Aspen Trail.

We bought a 2019 Dutchman Aspen Trail. We've had it for about 3 months now and it stays on a permanent site at our campground. So we don't move it at all and the last time we camped in it we noticed the ceiling panels staples were all popping out, the wall panels are only taped up and not nailed and those were even popping out also. We told the dealership that we understand that it's not there fault however, we don't want the camper now unless Dutchman will give us something else and have the manufacturer takes care of the rest of the bill. The dealership is working with us so I have nothing bad to say about them. If Dutchman were any kind of real people that stand behind there product, then they would just take this Aspen Trail back and give us a total different camper. We don't want this one anymore because even though it would get fixed, who's to say that it wouldn't happen again. I want to enjoy my camper and not worry about my ceiling falling in, walls coming apart ECT.. Dutchman stand behind your product and work with people and don't give us customers the run around. We all pay good money for these now it's time for you to work with all of us customers.

US TOO! I'm trying for 4 months now to get Keystone to take this issue seriously.

Dry Delamination of the flooring. the dealership today told me the entire body would have to be lifted in order to replace the flooring. IT IS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT!!!

Keystone should step up and do the right thing and take care of this issue. We own a Kodiak 201 QB.

Don’t by a travel trailer it’s worse than owning a boat

We have only owned our Denali 5th wheel for about 4 years since that time we have had to spend over 10,000 in repairs. Factory warranty is useless they would fix any of the warranty items we had issues with after the trailer sat at camping world for 5 mos. year 1 wireing harness pulling out Ac unit leaking into the trailer. drawers falling apart cabinetry falling apart Year two dump valves failed not coverd on warranty. Light fixtures falling off Year three we didn’t use Yearvfour this year went to use it living room slide gear box broken Had to replace brake drums and actuators Mind you we only have about 7k mikes on longest trip 1500 miles. Piece of crap run don’t ever buy an rv And if you finance for 20 years you’ll always be upside down our 60000 trailer dropped in value by half year one good luck ever getting out from under it Again Run Run Run

Not so pissed

Bearing failure on axle with less than 300 miles on it. Dutchmen submitted claim to Lippert. Lippert denied claim. Dutchmen covered new axle replacement under their warranty. Dutchmen stepped up and covered a part on their camper that wasn't manufactured by them .Thank You Dutchmen. I would like to see Dutchmen go back to Dexter axles and use self adjusting brakes but I guess they have their reasons for Lippert. I did put all new Timken bearings and seals and high quality grease in the hubs after that. No other issues after 1 year of moderate use.

Don't buy a Dutchmen or Thor product they won't stand behind their product.

We have a 2017 Kodiak Ultimate Travel Trailer 290RLSL. This is from when we first bought the trailer in April of 2017. The vent for the water does not seem to be venting the tank, even when we fill the tank slowly the air expells from the water fill spout. If we fill the tank the floor bulges up in the middle of the trailer. The floor near the back of the trailer cracks when you walk on it and the floor is extermely uneven. We took it to Arlington RV in Rhode Island in September of 2017 and there not sure what was going on. When contacting Kodiak customer service they say that the trailer is not covered on the 3 year structural warranty becuse it was made in the first part of 2017, not the second which it would be covered. Since this hasn't been fixed I felt that it should be resolved by Kodiak. This is workmanship issue.

I only took pictures of 1/2 the problems before I drove it 2 hrs away to the dealership.

10 problems its at dealer for. The most major one is ceiling panel over bed falling in. Dealership says supports behind panel are missing. Dutchman (coleman) says its not a structural defect and this happens just hitting bumps.. claim denied. No other coleman on the lot has this issue, just mine. My buddies doesn't either. About to persue legal action as this is unbelievable. The warranty they brag about is worth nothing. Should have stuck with jayco. They are really good at not responding to phone calls either.. "we will call you back later today".. 3 days later, no call back. 3 weeks at dealership now. Roof joints split, shower floor supports broken (I'm only 165 lbs), drawers won't open, hot water tank spewing black smoke all over, AC door broke and fell to floor, exterior molding covers split open, front metal panel arrived all scratched up, hole in ceiling around antenna rotator from factory, sink is leaking underneath. I bought new to avoid this crap.. now they tell me a dislodged ceiling panel with no supports installed behind it from the factory is not a structural defect? You got to be kidding me!!!

Not honouring their warranty

A manufacturer's defect resulted in water damage. The Denali trailer was brought to the dealership where it was discovered that the awning and drain spout were improperly installed at the factory. This resulted in water wicking in and delaminating the flooring. This was all reported under warrenty and we received a voice mail saying that Keystone "will not participate" in honouring their warranty. We have not yet received an explanation. Perhaps it is time to lawyer up.
